8. Marshall The Guv’nor. This project is based on the Marshall The Guv’nor and also the Danelectro Daddy-o, which is basically the same circuit as The Guv’nor with input and output buffers added. This is the circuit for the original black unit from the ’s, not any of the later, inferior versions. This is a very versatile distortion.

I've been through the Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret (v. 2), Fulltone OCD (v. 4), MI Audio Crunch Box and Blackstar HT-Dual. What I like about the Guvnor is it's low end with my amp, which all the others didn't have.
